Created a route with new farm strip as destination

Synced via card

New route is there but destiantion ends "nowhere". i.e. . name I gave it is not there and none of the data (runway, height, runway direction, runway length etc) is there.

What have I done wrong?

I have put all farm strips I use in waypoints, it would be much better in the custom data area, com on guys get this working !

However I believe that if you create a CustomData directory within your SkyDemon directory on the device (next to the Data directory) and put your custom data in it, SkyDemon will attempt to load it. This is unsupported.

Did as follows.

1. Created Custom Data folder within SD folder on card
2. Located the 3 csv files created by PC during Custom Data app.
3. Copied to newly created folder on card.
4. Switched 8410 off completely
5. Turned on & loaded SD
6. Loaded Route with destination that was added to Custom Data
7. Did not work
8. Also the farm strip I created is not on the map

Anything I did incorrectly?

PS realise not supported

Renamed directory to CustomData (no spaces).

When you load SD, it goes into a reload loop that you cannot get out of.

Furthermore the 3 files are gone and replaced by a file that you cannot delete. Only way then is to rename CustomData folder to something else. Then SD works agian but no custom data of course.

Only way to get back completely to square 1 is to reformat the card and start installation from scratch.

So other 8410 users beware.

I shd say it works perfectly on Cheapo Chines 7"!!

Process was as follows:

1. Create some custom data in SD
2. Locate & copy the 3 relevant xml files on PC
3. Copy to SDHC card into a folder named "CustomData"
4. Fire up Navigon
5. It went into a load/reload loop which I cd only stop by turning off & extracting the SDHC card.
6. Looked at the card  .. 3 xml files gone and replaced by 1 file that I cd not delete.
7. Am not saying SkyDemon did this  .. it was probably more to do with MioPocket or some such
8. An earlier incarnation of same thing gave me a whole host of files which I cd not delete and the folder said it was some 47GB in size (!!! on a 4GB card).

Just letting you know for interest and other 8410 users before they try same trick.
